Sureway was contracted to complete the major earthworks, tank pads, firewater, and storm line construction for the Enbridge Tank Terminal Expansion. Site establishment required clearing and stripping of approximately 80 acres of land, with 40% of it being wetlands. Site development work totaled 700,000 m3 of earthworks, 700,000 MT of granular material supply and placement, 3,000 lm of HDPE firewater line installation, and 2,600 lm of drainage installations (PVC, CSP, and carbon steel pipe).

Our team constructed five 550,000-barrel tank foundations, installed 225,000 m2 of HDPE liner, raised 1,000 m3 of concrete structures, excavated and backfilled 4,700 lm of product piping, excavated and backfilled 3500 lm of electrical trenching, and installed 10 lift stations with pumps, forcemains, and other concrete structures. Sureway also completed all final grading and civil support operations.
